The current phase of the Civic Education for Schools and Colleges programme targets primary school teachers in Kenya. This involves building the capacity of primary school teachers to be able to deliver the content of civic education in our schools and the surrounding community, taking into account the method of teaching that emphasizes active learning.
On the Urban Slums Basic Education Programme, emphasis are on building the capacity of school governance teams to enhance participation of all stakeholders in planning and efficient use of resources towards providing quality basic education for all children.
